Geeks On A Plane: India 2013 WrapUp by
It's been a few days since my return to the U.S. and as I settle back into work, I can't help but think about the experiences I've taken away from the trip. It was my first time visiting India and I'd never been on a group trip before. As I mentioned on my KickOff post, I found that the trips in between the start-ups where I got to talk with other geeks about India and the emerging market opportunities was just as interesting to...

Geeks On A Plane: Mumbai by
As we started our approach to the Mumbai airport you could see the shanty towns and as we were headed to the hotel, it was unbelievable to see so much poverty existed in one condensed area. I couldn't help to think that GOAP has mastered that on a mobile and global scale....

Geeks On A Plane: India 2013 KickOff by
I arrived in Bangalore, India at about 5 a.m. Thursday morning after taking two consecutive red eye connections from Miami. At the airport I bumped into my first Geeks On A Plane (GOAP) geek, Connor Hood, founder of Wahooly, Inc from Austin, Texas. Wahooly crowdsources brand evangelists for companies in exchange for capital. Being in India was a surreal experience. The country is the second largest country in the world...

NADA 2013 Recap by
On February 8-10, 2013, I headed up to the NADA Convention & Expo in Orlando, Florida and I saw a lot of exciting opportunities in the upcoming year.  I've summarized some new topics from the convention, who I saw and where we're headed in 2013. I started out my trip with a NADA University presentation from Lindsay Schultz from Google.  She touched on the marketing model called the Zero Moment of Truth (ZMOT). Traditionally...
